Get Involved

There are a variety of service opportunities available with Village South Africa. Whatever your skills, they can be put to use. Opportunities include:

  • Medical, dental, and physical therapy service;
  • Organizing and implementing camp for kids;
  • HIV education;
  • Construction;
  • Teaching a specific educational unit or skill at an children’s homes;
  • Hanging out and playing with the children.

If your preference is a more traditional mission trip to South Africa, you can volunteer through Village South Africa, where you can spend time at a children’s home. We serve with Jehovah Jireh Haven in Alexandria and Door of Hope in Port Elizabeth, or a variety of soup clubs in the Transkei.

A unique opportunity is through HuntSA, where you can incorporate mission work and a safari experience. Rufus Luttig is a native South African man who has served his community for over 30 years. He owns an expansive ranch outside of Grahamstown, SA. People who choose to hunt while on the ranch are given the opportunity to provide meat to various Village South Africa partnership children’s’ homes.
