Village South Africa supports a South African church planting movement in Transkei headed up by Paul Simpson of Regions Beyond and to include a link to the Regions Beyond website.
Paul Simpson is a pastor and church planter in Kwa Zulu-Natal and Transkei South Africa. He and his wife, Shannon are the pastors at Grace Community Church in Harding South Africa, and has planted and overseen the development of many churches in the Transkei.
He works to raise up indigenous pastors and leaders and empowers them to sustain churches with strong discipleship.
He is also involved with Regions Beyond, a growing worldwide missional organization that brings pastors and laymen into fellowship to reach the nations with the gospel. More information can be found at regions-beyond.com.
Village South Africa and HuntSA are ministries grown out of relationships. Rufus Luttig and Brad Rauch met Paul through one of those relationships with JR Quigley, a pastor from Montana, who met Paul at a Regions Beyond conference in Clarens, South Africa.
Since that meeting, we have become friends and have partnered with Paul to bring teams to him to explore how to help both of our ministries reach the people of Transkei.
At this time we have had pastors and leaders from 3 churches in America come over and visit Paul and seek God for next steps. One of those churches, Harvest Bible Fellowship from Denver Colorado, is now partnering to come alongside Paul. In April 2018, a building project is underway to help a pastor in Mthatha.
